BMS is THE BEST REMAKE EVER. and it's free! everyone should try it out!
i'm currently up to the "Forget about Freeman" chapter, but (just an example of one of my fave parts) i LOVE the ending of the chapter before Forget about Freeman, "Surface Tension". just watch:
the first time i had fallen down the vents (when the soldiers shoot the vent you're in) i had my snarks ready, and as i fell down, i threw snarks at the soldiers.... only to see that the soldiers got squished by the Gargantua behind them... and then it started chasing me.... that was the biggest HOLY -Cheesecake!-!!!!! gaming moment of my life, but it is even more intense than the original!!

Looked through the old threads and came across this.
I just started playing Half-Life 2, and so far I really like it (don't understand how people can say it's the best game ever, but I like it)
Anyway, do you guys think I should play Black Mesa first? Is it any good story wise and would it have a big effect on my expecience with Half-Life 2?
