Darth Vader no indeed. Although I dislike a few things about it, I still really want it. In the end they convinced me that it was actually pretty awesome. BUT I'm still never getting an Xbone so... :/

I'm trying to build a BEAST gaming computer, and I already have most of the money. Can you guys look over the specs and see anything that doesn't seem good enough? I'm looking for a PC that will last me at least 5 years without upgrades being needed. I'm lazy.

Thanks for reading, if you did. Razz

I read it, but barely know anything at all about computer parts... sorry :/ (I know, I'm a disgrace and having a older brother has spoiled me)

So I had a little incident the other day that really pissed me of and made me pretty damn depressed.

I have this NES emulator downloaded for my windows phone and I've been using it for years to play old classic games like the original Metro, Super Mario Bros, Bionic Commando, Megaman, Castlevania and a few other classics.

A few weeks back I decided that I really wanted to play the old Final Fantasy games, so I downloaded the games from 1-3. The first game was practically unplayable compared to the remake demo of it I had tried (but didn't want to buy) so I decided to skip through to Final Fantasy III (not to be confused with the Final Fantasy III for the SNES, which is actually the sixth game).

Anyhow, I really, REALLY loved this game! It's so simple yet so big and complex at the same time. So I spent weeks playing the game, and after putting maybe 15 hours of gameplay into it I made a BIG MISSTAKE!. The emulator I use can only hold one save per game, and the save button is very close to the load button. You all know were this is going, I started the game up and got to the opening screen, and as I was very tired at the time I accidentally pressed the save button, moving all my progress back to the start screen.

I was so pissed about this, I almost felt like breaking my phone. But I decided that I loved that game so much, I was going to do it all over again. It was alot faster the second playthrough so after 5 hours I'm almost back to were I were.

Moral of the story, don't use retarded emulators that only allow one save slot, especially if you're playing RPGs.

I've been looking for a way to record audio from my piano to my computer for weeks using a usb interface, and I've felt like smashing both my piano and my computer in frustration. After buying the correct adapter for the interface, a two-way usb cable and a two way audio cord I though I would finally have what I need. But no! Of course it turns out that the only way to connect to the piano output is through rgc cables (which I thought were normal audio)! But I actually did happen to have one with two rgc exists in each end, which is exactly what I needed. Of course this would have been too easy... it turns out that the drivers I have for my audio interface have a bug that makes them unable to work with r/pdif or electronic audio signals. And since they don't make drivers for it anymore I'm pretty much f*cked when it comes to that solution. What I'll have to do now is buy yet another f*cking cable that has two rgc connectors at one end, and a standart audio connector at the other end...

Seriously, WHY THE -Cheesecake!- CAN'T ALL CABLES JUST BE THE SAME? Why can't everything be USB!

The horrible truth is, USB is a lie. It is neither universal or a bus. Our daily lives are all an illusion to keep us docile s our corporate overlords can stand on their pillars of power obscured behind the clouds.

Anyways, to contribute to the forums and be more active and less lurky overall maybe I should start being active on this thread.
-Today I had tea with honey, not something I do often.

Maybe I should start an objectionable political movement to make my life more interesting...
Murder someone and use this thread as my confessions in life? Hmm...

I hate tea. I prefer a flask of Sprite and a hunk of raw baguette myself. Razz

If I get what you're saying, then it is just as I fear: The only reason they make so many f*cking cables is so you'll have to buy all of them, that's how they get you. (Guess what, I bought that new adapter and it also turned out to be a waste of money. What I actually need is two seperate rca to 7mm audio adapters! I just wanted to record music, but they had to crush my spirit first...)

And y'all are nuts, tea is the were it's at! Brittish BVG members, assemble and tear these coffee/sprite sippers a new one!

But why? Maybe it isn't the sweetest thing around but its bitter taste has an appeal to it. Plus adding honey or vanilla extract makes it all the better. For me I get the added benefit of having my cuts on my tongue and lips soothed by the warm goodness. I don't drink it too often, but it is healthier and just as good as Soda IMO.

To tell you the truth, the only time I had it, it was sweet tea, and it was probably Lipton. From what I hear, it's so bad that British people refuse to even call it tea. But I really don't care if it's healthy. I eat a lot of -Cheesecake!-, and I still sexy as a Mo' Fo'. Razz

I enjoy the tea-bags in hot water kind of tea, not the bottled kind. I too enjoy eating all dem -cakecheese!- and whatnot and I maintain a slightly shmexy form, not quite as shmexy as preferred but I'm glad for the thumbs-up doctors give, exercise helps our quite a bit. People expect that as soon as my fast metabolism declines I'll gain 600 lb in a month.

Sorry that I haven't been posting anything in a very long time (special sorry to those waiting for more Tontra story, have patience guys). But things have been going straight to hell with school recently. I'm thinking about dropping out and redoing everything next year if it's possible... but without getting 75% grades on my classes I might get trouble applying for student support next year (that's right, over here the government PAYS you to go to University for 5 years max on the condition that you complete your classes. Pretty awesome am I right?).

So I might start working during spring and continue my studies next fall.

Well lucky you, in the U.S. You have to either be rich and white or else you have to sell your soul and probably at most 2 limbs to afford college education...

What about scholarships... Razz

(Better drop this before mini0013xx reads it. We've had this discussion before and he does not approve of our socialist ways)

Scholarships tend to pay for like 1/10 of a semesters worth so you have to gather a 6 year-olds christmas list worth of them. The rest should be gathered by jobs you get as a teen if your parents aren't exactly overflowing with cash.

And what is so wrong about socialist policies according to mini?

It's just an old debate, me and Mini have pretty much opposite opinions on politics; socialism vs capitalism, taxes vs no taxes, no guns vs guns and so on. But he's a cool dude alright, haven't seen him around in a while though.

But I did not know that, I thought scholarships paid for most of the education, if not all of it... what do you know.
