I dont think this alpha is coming any time soon. Unless im wrong dont put my word on it but im just saying dont get your hopes up that its right round the corner...

tbh im happy if were just against grunts cos jony will even it out ;P but i cant wait, its going to be soooo epic (if i get in )

I think what people are worried about, is whether or not they will be playable. If they aren't they could fill some sort of NPC role.

I have a question about the alpha! Since my computer I have now completely sucks and I wont be able to be in the alpha, will I get to see some gameplay?

Well, i'm pretty sure we can't record if we play Alpha, but if we can, I will surely record it!

Yeah that's sad... My computer really sucks... fortunately I will be able to play the full game on my brothers super computer! (it can run BF3 on almost highest settings!) But he wont be home for many weeks so I can't play the alpha.... :/

Well then Marines wouldn't be either.... because grunts kinda balance them in my opinion.

Without grunts, Marines just become Cannon Fodder compared to the Covenant.

Yeah but not against grunts... if there would be grunts they would have something to fight that's not WAAAAY more powerfull than them, vice versa with grunts.

haha well, personaly i do think it is on topic so ill carry on, sorry wiltz but yeah i reckon grunts should most DEFINATLY be playable, i dont mind if not first of all but definatly in a soonish update from release like everyone said, marines and grnts are evened out, bit like pilots and jackals/ skirmishers, ODST's and brites and spartans and elites, if you dont have grunts, you dont have marines, simples
