So, I'm sure many of you are now aware that myself and many other fantastic members have decided to, some how, recreate the history of BVG, up until the point it became the Bay.

Below are three links that we will use to gather ideas.

Rules of the documents:
- No editing the script
- No deleting anyone else's writing, that is mine and Dred's job only. (there are writing job's available)
- When creating a character, only create ONE for yourself and you may make a character for anyone who is no longer with us
- Make it clear what you are writing about, use titles for characters
- The General Ideas thread is just to put any quick ideas down. When we know what we want to do, more documents will be made e.g setting, music, theme.
- Don't spam
- Be creative

Edit: You should do it in Reach. 4's lighting might be kinda weird, and I want to play as an elite.

Woohoo!!!!! Cant wait to see this come together! I cant really add much for the age of Sorviegn, but I can for everything thats happened after that.

I've been around since the Gwendolyn Outbreak and The Great Blackout but not the Sovereign Era. I think I could contribute adequately.

They shouldn't be. I'm not looking at them until this weekend. Then I'll see what ideas you've all come up with. PLEASE ONLY USE THE RIGHT ONES. Your ideas in the script will be ignored if you're not allowed. We're not writing it yet.

It’s starts in a full blown conflict between two regions of a country. It’s a civil war.
Swanton is the leader of one side and eventually wins the war, with the 2 regions being united. With the winning of the war, Swanton establishes BVC (Bay View City) as the new capital of the country.
The community are represented as the citizens of Bay View City. The developers are Swanton’s committee who work to run the city. Due to many disagreements between the committee, a section of the committee form a rival party, the Sovereign Unity, which try to rule the country their own way. This attempt fails and they decide to split the country back into the 2 regions, dubbed the Bay View Nation and the Sovereign Nation.
After many wars and conflicts, the Bay View Nation and the Sovereign Nation form one united country again. Internal conflicts AGAIN lead to a governmental blackout. The regions fall into chaos; starvation is on the rise, mass deaths and famine swarm the country. It turns out that Swanton had fled the country after there had been an attempted assassination. The committee failed to the run country and left it for dead. This was known as the Blackout.

Eventually, one of the citizens (myself) decides to achieve order amongst the regions. With the help of a new military (lead by Knadan). Lawrence (see what I did there) is this new leader and establishes a military rule with a dropping community… AND WE COULD THINK OF SOMETHING COOL FROM THERE.

The moderators would be the police force. Wiltz would have his own side stories.

Gwendolyn would also have his own side stories. He could possibly be a hallucination of many of the starving citizens who caused chaos. Many of the citizens began worshipping him and started causing chaos amongst the police.

We're thinking about actually writing a book about all of the crazy sh*t that has happened in this forum since it started.

Since it's hard for one person to remember everything, everyone should write down what they can remember in the ideas document! (we could technically go back to the SVG forums to refresh our memories)

If feel that this eould look better as a animated show, instead of a Halo Machinima. I mean, i'm sure we have some talented artists here (Ive been getting back into hand drawing anime and stuff, mainly DBZ stuff, I used to be extremely good at it a few years back) and plenty of people who could work the software to put it together. Its just a thought, I could really see this becoming a big thing.

Okay, so I'm doing this here because I cant really screw with google docs on my phone. This idea is being based off of other ideas that I've seen so far, so here goes (also forgive any spelling mistakes, typing this rather fast on a small keyboard.):

It's a somewhat post apocolyptic world, due to a war that has ravaged the lands. It takes place in a futuristic world, that still incorporates mideval weaponry (swords, axes, even bows (of course they can have a bit of a twist to them, or just be old fashioned)) along with guns and vehicles. Arcane arts are a reality in this world, though it is rare to see individuals with them.

The war is split between 2 factions, Sorviegnians and (still thinking of a name for other faction, Tontorians maybe, to pay homage to Tontra.) At some point we can have a prequel that will explain more in depth as to how this war came to be, but it is a short narration that shows clips of the war, and explains as to how both factions were once united (Im thinking that the leading parties of the Sorviegnian oppossed the right to let those with Arcane Arts apart of their society, due to the fear of the Shadow (Lead by Gwendylon, an evil force of dark powers (demons and monsters of sorts) that tries to destroy all humanity and enslave others)). The reason why is that The council and Sorviegns leader believes that Arcane manipulaters are the reason the Shadow has broke free and now ravashes the world.

There were those however, who disagreed with leaving these Arcane Artists to die in the wilderness, because of this the supreme leader of Bay View City (I think we should come up with another name, but it still spells out BVC(also Bay View City is sort of like the greatest City on the planet type thing, still thinking of whether we should base this on Earth)) decided to exile those who fall in league with them, and those that resist will be forced out with deadly aggression (due to the council thinking that they fall in league with the forces of Shadow). There is one person who stands up to lead those being exiled (Swanton) and leads them to the wilderness to began a new life. Seeing this, the Sorviegnian leader panicks as one of his head councelmen warn him that they may return with the forces of Shadow to take over the city. Deeming those that follow Swanton as heretic, the Sorviegnian leader orders the cities troops to kill those who leave, once theyve ventured out of the walls. The killing begins, and the Arcane Artists shield the group as they escape with the numbers they have left. This is one of the main reasons the war started.

We can also go into detail as to how Swanton begins to recruit others to his cause of taking back the city and killing the crazed leader. This is where some of us who came into the picture later, can come in as drifters or whatever you wish to be...

Going to add more tommorow and hopefully finish it, due to the fact I have both jobs off.

I like most of everything else if not everything else, but this is kinda bothering me. I don't think Gwendylon should be evil. It wasn't exactly evil here so I don't think it should be evil in the retelling. I don't have any ideas for what Gwendylon could be but, the whole "evil force" thing doesn't sit right with me.

Yeah, I agree. Gwendolyn should be passive. I don't wanna brag but I like my idea with Gwendolyn being a hallucination of starving people, causing them to go crazy. Kinda like how many of us, admit it ahha, got obsessed with Gwendolyn and the devs got annoyed.

I was trying to think of who to choose as a chaotic evil, and I thought Gwendylon might be good. I was also going to incorperate the idea of Gwendylon and the starving/hallucination idea, but to turn people into cultusts and against the city. In reality it would turn out Gwendylon is the true evil (because no one knew of who was leading the Shadow) and had also been manipulating some of the leaders of both cities.

Just so you guys know, I haven't forgotten about this. Infact I'm working on it right now and I've made some progress
