Could you? I mean like Halo Style. So you start in your room, abord a frigate or corvette, and you can drop into the action by entering a drop pod. You could edit your classes by editing a thing on the wall or something. I just think it would be very cool. And maybe if you own your own frigate or corvette you could drive it through your house or something? I think that would be awesome!

The pods probably wouldn't take you right to the action, because there will be other players trying to get in too. I could see each pod representing a different lobby or game mode you could enter though. That would be a pretty cool main menu!

I don't think they are going to allow us to customize the ships, they made it very clear that there would be no map customization or forge mode in the game. I trust them enough to give us good maps anyways.

That would be an awesome way to enter lobbies! I can't see them doing that though. Less programming, less time, closer release date.

If they don't do this, what they should do is make it so in each game mode, you spawn in a briefing room in your base and you can gear up in there and then go to battle directly from there

Sounds cool, maybe later on, we could have debriefing rooms for teams like in Rainbow 6?
PS: Never played the series, but that holographic map looks amazing.

I think a "static menu" is best. It may not be as flashy, but it presents all the information you need easily and allows you to quickly access things like graphics settings.

Well, stuff, like audio, controls, and graphics/video settings would be through a standard menu, but we're thinking for accessing missions or armor customization.

Imagine a ship bigger than a frigate. But with a room for games and lobby called War Games. oh wait...... Smile

The lobby should be some part of the ship with teleporters on the ground to walk into to get to your destination/lobby. A click able door that when you talk through takes you to a lobby like lego star wars

The game loading screen for that lobby should spawn you inside a drop ship where you are taken into a game (not literally) and the screen darkening means the game has finished loading and you get in a game.

coming before all of this is a static menu where they announce updates/maintenance and a play or exit button.
