Hey, MW2 was the first CoD game that didn't stress on respawning enemies. I thought you HATED respawning enemies!camycamera wrote:yep, mw2 was where it went downhill.Legal wrote:Haha, admit they were good up to CoD 5
but that is an overdone topic.

well, mw2 brought in OP killstreaks and deathstreaks, and was unbalanced, so yeah, i automatically hate it.mini0013xx wrote:Hey, MW2 was the first CoD game that didn't stress on respawning enemies. I thought you HATED respawning enemies!camycamera wrote:yep, mw2 was where it went downhill.

Once again, I always rate my games by campaign. I don't typically play multiplayer.camycamera wrote:well, mw2 brought in OP killstreaks and deathstreaks, and was unbalanced, so yeah, i automatically hate it.mini0013xx wrote:Hey, MW2 was the first CoD game that didn't stress on respawning enemies. Wait, wait, wait, a fan of CoD that doesn't exclusively play multiplayer!?!?!?!?!?!?! Blasphemy!!! Nah, just kidding mini, in my humble opinion though, MW3 is when the games really started to go down hill, (take this with a grain of salt, MW3 was the last CoD I played) everything seemed to have some kind of grey/green filter, I didn't particularly enjoy many of the maps in multiplayer (though the ones that I liked were really fun), the story seemed a little redundant, and that one seemed to be when the "fanbase" started to become somewhat of a cult.mini0013xx wrote:Once again, I always rate my games by campaign. MW3's campaign was only decent. The levels weren't great, but I can't say that they were bad either. They were just ok all around, however, compared to every game before it, it's campaign was horrid.lordpyromon wrote:Wait, wait, wait, a fan of CoD that doesn't exclusively play multiplayer!?!?!?!?!?!?! I rate my games through visuals, entertainment value, story, and of course the overall gameplay; I have to say MW3 scored pretty low in most of the above categories for me at least.
Edit: I feel I should also mention that I have yet to play MW2 although I do own it.

well, yeah. MW2 was when the cult actually started (as in, more of those whiney little kids came from, although they were present in CoD 4).lordpyromon wrote:

MW2 also introduced the "noobtube" saying if i recall correctly. not to mention some of the maps were absolutely terrible to the point where it became a campfest. and the spawning system was screwed up as well; some times enemies would spawn right next to eachother!
you know my rant on the OP killstreaks and the silly introduction of deathstreaks (which forever doomed CoD), but it also included ridiculous gun imbalances, such as a duel-wielded sawn off shotgun (yes, 2 sawn off shotguns), duel magnums, and the akimbo.
lets not forget the type 95......
and IW had kinda failed to fix any of these problems, especially at launch.
but /end rant.

I don't remember those, actually. All I remember was having fun running through the mayhem. I like explosions.CWO4anthony321123 wrote:You mean all of it's plot holes?mini0013xx wrote:But dat campaign doe.
