I have officially decided to create a spin-off to the well known RP thread originally created by the (to my knowledge) inactive BVG member EpicGhostKilla121.
first of all the setting of this prequel will be in an alternate 1985 in which myth, magic, and the occult actually exist and tech is much more advanced (basically imagine Bioshock but with smartphones, laptops, etc.)

Name: Blaze Inafune
Age: 26
Personality: narcissistic, irritable, extremely stubborn, and has a natural hatred for most of humanity
Visuals: male, 7 ft tall, quite masculine, long brown hair, tan skin, large black eyes with red markings under each one, long pointed ears, a sharp nose, and two robotic arms.
Background: Blaze grew up in a rich family so it's no surprise that he got a little messed up, but his problems didn't come from neglect or being spoiled rotten, his problems came from his insane father! His mother was murdered when he was only 6 by his own dad: Incindious Inafune, shortly after Incindious began to conduct sick, inhumane experiments from ripping his arms off and attempting to sew them back on to injecting random chemicals into him. After many years and many horrible experiments Blaze looked nothing like the pampered young Japanese boy he once was, now he was a monster, a monster with twenty years of rage building inside of him, and just last week that rage was unleashed as he tore his father limb from limb and burned his crippled body not with normal fire starters, but with his breath; maybe it was one of the many experiments, maybe he was born with it, he didn't care. he took as much of his father's riches as he could carry in his pockets and his katana Yuki (the only thing he has to remember his mother by) and made off to the quickly growing crime ridden city of Tontra to have a fresh start on life as a paid mercenary.

Residence: the first thing Blaze did when he got to Tontra was buy the world renowned abandoned Tontra manor where he now lives in complete solitude.
Weapon: His mother's katana dubbed Yuki meaning snow.

- Name: Alexander Nero
Age: 22
Personality: He feels he is superior to those around him and acts cold to those he doesn't respect. He's very intelligent and often plays the puppeteer behind the scenes of the puppet show. He's manipulative and charismatic. But for his deception he is actually very honest and hates lying more than anything else.
Visuals: 6 foot 3 in, 200lbs, athletic/muscular build, short brown hair that is combed to the right, light blue eyes, a charming smile, and lightly tanned complexion.
Background: His parents were/are part of a age old secret society known as "Nacti Horizonte" (Find the Horizon) where all marriages are arranged to produce children to lead humanity on a better path. He grew up with the society's teachings and grew to realize what he was. He began to look down on the "commoners" as he quickly pulled ahead in school, athletics, and anything else he was told to do. The only people able to compete with him were children of families who were also members. He graduated from TUE at the age of 20 being among the youngest to ever graduate from there. Now he works as a low level official for the city of Tontra.
Goals: To build a network to control the city from the shadows.

- Name: Dalnarion (Dal) Helstrom
Age: 23
Personality: Distant, likes to keep to himself. Isnt afraid to take action without orders
Visuals: Wears a full body second skin pressure suit, which regulates him to the enviroment, increases his speed and strength. His suit has a chamelion feature, which creates the illusion of other clothing. Normally, he has the suit take form of a black and grey trench coat, with a dark grey shirt under it, along with black dress pants. Shock absorbers in the suit allow him to take no fall damage from 50ft. His hair is longer and white.
Background: Orphaned at a young age due to his abnormal eye (powers description), he was taken in by a secret cult known as The Order, an orginization that seeks to balance the world, by lessening the heavier scale of evil. Their youngest student, was trained for his whole life in their ways. At age 13 he was sent to carry out his first assassination. He killed with no remorse for the wicked and those that helped them. By age 17 he had become one of The Orders best, and, without their knowledge, had been training himself on how to harness his powers. Now, he sets of to The City of Tontra, for his next target, but he may be getting himself involved in much more than he knows.
Goals: To seek for balance and sharpen his skills. He one day hopes to find the answers to his past and why and what had given him his powers at birth. He does not mind to do bounty jobs.
Occupation: Assassin/Interigator
Residence: He's a Drifter, doesn't like to stay in one place for to long.
Attends: The Order (more of an agency)
Weapon: Magnetic Kunia (returns to him after thrown), wrist blades, boot blades, several other blades. His signature weapon is his sword imbeud with void magic. The swords name is Obitius. Carries and energy bow,the arrows are small clips that float perfectly in place when placed on the "bow string". When fired, the "arrow" is emited from the clip, made out of either fire, ice, void, etc.
Gear: Carries a locket around his neck, his right ear has a holographic HUD/COM link on it, giving him news on new targets.
Powers: Shadow walker and Void manipulator. Can literally meld into the shadows. Shadowstep allows him to seemingly teleport, when he really is bouncing from one persons shadow to another. His left eye is nothing but a white glowing arua, which allows him to see into the Void (the world within our world). With this he can see small white outlines of people, which will glows brighter when someones fear increases. Uses void magic.

Age: 26
Personality: Strait forward, cautious, stealthy
Visuals: Dark skinned, white semi-long hair, blue eyes, White sun tattoo on his chest and white bands tattooed under his eyes
Background: Born and raised in the poorer slums of Tontra, Father died when he was three from gang valance, Mother died of disease when he was 24, still mourning, has been stealing and fighting for roughly 7 1/2 years.
Goals: Make the money and connections to leave the slums and have a better life
Occupation(optional): Thief, mercenary, foot-soldier when needed, part timer at repair shop as a front

Weapon:(optional) Short bladed tungsten knife, 3 shot collapsible one handed crossbow
Gear:(optional) Brown leather jacket (usually open, no shirt), black deep pocketed pants, gel lined shoes to prevent sound,belt pouches for Crossbow bolts, basic camera/ video phone, monocular, dual hooked climbing tool

- Name: Trevel Thomas
Age: 17
Personality: He's mostly a loner. Likes to be alone, read books, weird stuff. He never had much interaction with people other than his family, for good reason too. He's kind of cold and arrogant. But, he's naturally kind and will help his friends no matter what. He's allergic to shellfish, watches anime, and loves visual and performing arts. Painting, drawing, singing, dancing, all that good stuff. He hates magic and magic-users.
Visuals: About 5'8". Kinda slender but, with defined muscles. Mini-afro. Wears Scott Pilgrim vs. The World shirts and torn khakis. All his khakis are torn. Ya know, for style(kids these days amirite?) Has a silver chain with a light turquoise crystal on the end of it given to him from his grandfather.
Background: He hales from a town that is famed for creating top wizards and the like. Not, wanting to follow through with what is expected of him from his parents and peers, he learned martial arts and left his loud and over-expecting town for the small city of Tontra. He is currently looking for a job in Tontra so that he can support himself while he strives for artistic perfection.
Goals: To become the greatest artist the universe has ever known and to show everyone who didn't believe in him that, magic isn't the greatest power there is.
Occupation(optional): Currently unemployed. Searching.
Residence(optional):1 Bed-room apartment in the ghettos.
Attends(as in a school)(also optional): None. Not expecting to go.
Weapon:(optional) None. Knows karate. Duh.
Gear:(optional) Phone, and art supplies in a book bag.
Powers(optional): None. Well, his martial arts is pretty POWERful. Eh? Eh? No?.. Okay.

- Name: Micheal Anderson (AKA Mike Jensen)
Age: 37
Appearance: Has black hair, brown eyes and is somewhat athletic. Wears a black-blue multi-purpose hazard-body-suit for civilian use, and has a coat over it when outdoors.
Personality: A very humerous person who usually likes to keep a light tone and joke about most things. He comes of as light hearted person but also has problems with anger and views life in an extremely serious way, putting his values above personal happiness or even survival. He values loyalty, resbonsibility, justice, ideals, and despises the corrupt and greddy forces who exploit the weaker people of Tontra, forcing them into criminality, to fulfill their own goals.
Background: He grew up in a conservative lower middle-class family in the suburbs of Tontra. He faced crime on the streets but had been taught the importance of values, and so he saw a bigger picture. He stayed away from crime but was a close friend to many who saw crime as their only means of survival. He did not agree with their ways but could understand the hopelesness in their lives and why they resorted to crime. He was very talented and managed to get a schoolarschip at Tontra Technical University after high school and worked there as a professor after his studies. During his studies he was reunited with his childhood friend Sara Reed who he married shortly after.
He made huge leaps in the department of artificial intelligence and managed to build a small fortune through corporate investers. At one time he published an report about the negative effects of magic and forerunner technology, but was mostly rediculed for it. (I wanted something connecting this to Halo as homage to the original Tontra RP. In this universe the forerunners mastered both the power of magic and technology and left alot more of it lying around) After that he decided to conduct his research on those subjects in secrecy.
He was quickly moved to the upper class, were he was at initially resistant to changing his way of life, although eventually made new connections and friends.
While contintuing his research at the university he took freelancing jobs for diffrent corporations. He was hired by Nacti Horizonte to program various software systems, but felt unsettled while working there. So he released an artificial intelligence into their servers in order to extract information about what they were hiding from him. Unfortunately for him the AI was quickly discovered and erased, and when he came home that night his wife has been murdered with evidence planted around the scene, connecting him to the murder. He was taken into custody, were he tried to get in touch with all of his contacts and friends, but not a single one of them was even willing to talk to him. Most likely bribed or actually believing that Micheal killed his wife. This made him realise that he had abandoned his ideals and values by asociating with these kind of people, working for corupt corporations.
After a trial impossible to win, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison. But using his wits, he was able to escape before even ariving at the prison.
Micheal then created a new identity for himself with the name, Mike Jensen.
Occupation(optional): He is currently trying to keep a low profile, working with comon labour jobs to make a small income. With the little money he has left after the rent he uses to continue his research.
Goals: Micheal Jensen is a scientist and has spent most of his life researching AI, the Forerunners, and the positive and negative capabilities of magic. He feels that he is on the brink of discovering something groundbreaking and intends to see it through.
He has been trying to find the answer as to why, in rare occasions, people who use magic become corrupted by it's power and turned into disfigured mutants (sort of like a a magical version of splicers in Bioshock mixed with zombies. I think this would make for more interesting encounters and plots).
He also studies the technology of Forerunner artifacts and tries to understand why the Forerunners disapeared, leaving nothing but their tech behind.
His current goal is to stay hidden, which is getting increasignly difficult with the amount of officers roaming the streets after the recent chain of riots and gang violence. He must find a way to ensure that his identity remains secret if he is to continue his research and eventually get revenge on the people who killed his wife.
Residence(optional): A one-room loft in a skyscrapper near the center of Tontra City.
Weapon:
- His personal dumb AI (very intelligent, but not a replica of a human brain) named after his wife Sara. It/she can be used to hack most electronics and is carried around in a module on his hazard suit.
- 12 mm pistol with a laser sight modification. Carries two types of ammunition, electric stun darts and light-explosive rounds.
- A small number of airborne defense robots. (similar to Bioshock)
Powers: Has a extensive knowledge of technology and magic, although he doesn't have the power to use it himself (yet?)
His suit is also somewhat resistant to enviremental hazards like radiation, but also magic and other forms of energy
