Halo 2 Anniversary: Xbox One box art debunked by Microsoft Empty Jenkins | 9380 Heroic Member

Halo 2: Anniversary box art was said to have leaked yesterday, but it all looks a bit ‘Photoshop,’ and Microsoft has since released a statement on the matter.

The image follows leaks that suggest Halo 2: Anniversary will drop on Xbox One, November 11.

In a statement to OXM, Microsoft said of the art, “Other than confirming that your Halo journey on Xbox One begins in 2014, we have made no announcements related to specific titles. Any report or listing to the contrary is based solely on speculation and rumour.”

So there you have it. What do you make of the image above?

1. Chief is wearing his Halo 4 armor. 343 gave Chief his CE armor with graphic updates for CEA. I would expect them to do the same for H2A if it is a thing.

2. He's holding an Assault Rifle. That weapon doesn't exist in Halo 2.

Its obviously a fan-made photoshoped picture. Even the Halo 2 logo looks like it could have been quickly drawn up and placed in with shading. Every Halo game cover has shown the actual word "Halo", even CEA. H2A shouldn't be any different.

I'm still hopeful for a H2A, but MS would have been very careful not to let this image slip out along with the actual rumor of it existing. So I'm almost 100% sure its fanmade.

Your only wrong about one thing, the halo 2 limited collectors edition (which I have) only had a big "2" on the cover.

But yeah, that cover is most likely fan-made.
