I remember that the old game engine had support for it, so I'm just wondering if there will still be support for a wired Xbox 360 controller. Because I know that many community members (myself included) are console gamers and using a keyboard would be a difficult transition.

GoC will have controller support, because Cryengine 3 have controller support.

The game doesn't have to support it. Might be able to make it easier though.

I like and hate it, depends what game. Military shooters are easier, when I use mouse, but Halo 2 with mouse is not nice. Or Minecraft with Controller...

I agree, I really can't imagine playing team fortress on a x-box honestly. Mostly because you have to many options in tf2 and you wouldn't be able to use voice commands as an example.

I prefer controller but there are some exceptions.

TF2 doesn't have as many options on the Xbox, and really isn't as good. For voice commands, it has been done before on the Xbox. Only example I can think of right now(that isn't for Kinect) is Endwar. That's a fun game.

People... I already said this, but games don't need to support controllers. The buttons on the controller just replace various keys on the keyboard/mouse. They should work for all games.

Yeah, but built-in support would be better than installing unreliable 3rd party software imo.

Controller will not work for all games, without exact programs.

One program. You would only need one program.

Well, my friend needed 3 different programs to get his controller work with different games.

Thats really nice to hear because i'm a console gamer. It shouldn't be a problem as long as all the actions work with the controller in some way.

P.S. I hinks some of the other Tom Clancy games have voice command as well.

(I meant that controllers work, not the post above, that sucks for him

The controls will probably be configurable from an options menu. At least, I hope so. It would kind of suck if the d-pad was used for shooting.
